Elderly Man Injured In Arvada Townhouse Fire
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - An elderly man has been hospitalized after a townhouse fire in Arvada late Saturday night.
Scott Pribble with the Arvada Fire Protection District said at 11:52 p.m. firefighters responded to a townhouse fire in the 6300 block of Cole Lane.
"One person was reportedly still inside the home at the time. When fire crews arrived, they found fire inside the home and a quick search found an elderly male still inside the home," Pribble said in a statement.
The man was transported to St. Anthony's Central. His condition hasn't been released.
Two dogs were injured in the fire.
Another unit in the complex sustained a small amount of smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
