Weekend Road Work
Cherry Creek Dam Road will close tomorrow morning starting at 5am and will remain closed closed until Sunday at 5pm.
The US Army Corps of Engineers is doing some maintenance on the road.
Construction continues on US 6 through Clear Creek Canyon through June. It will reopen on the weekends to accommodate traffic. When it is closed during the week you can take I-70 to Central City Parkway.
Also, work on the Alameda Bridge project over I-25 will come to a close at the end of the month. The Colorado Department of Transportation tells me the project is running on time. Work at I-25 and Santa Fe will continue through July of next year.
