Police Arrest 2 Suspects In Connection With York Street Double Murder

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Police have arrested two men in connection with the double homicide that occurred in Northeast Denver on Friday.

Detective John White with Denver police said investigators obtained arrest warrants for Marquise Davis, 23, and Denzel Richardson, 20.

White said Davis was arrested in the 15800 block of East 13th Place in Aurora early Monday morning. Richardson was arrested in the 900 block South Peoria Street in Aurora Monday afternoon.

The shootings happened at the corner of York Street and Bruce Randolph Avenue in broad daylight. The victims have been identified as Deon T. Rudd, 30, of Aurora, and Justin O'Donnell, 21, of Denver.

Denver police haven't released new information on what led to Friday's shooting. The midday violence drew so many neighbors to the crime scene some officers were assigned to crowd control.
