Police Investigate Homicide In Northwest Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are investigating a homicide after a man's body was found inside his home in northwest Denver on Saturday.

Detective John White said at approximately 7:15 a.m. officers responded to the 5000 block of West Alaska Place on the report of a suspicious death.

"When officers arrived they discovered the body of a deceased male victim who had suffered an apparent fatal gunshot wound," White said in a statement.

The victim has been identified as Richard Nack, 59. Police are calling his death a homicide.

The cause of death and identity of the victim have not been released.
