Denver Police Arrest 35 On Prostitution Charges

DENVER (AP) -- Police have arrested 35 people on prostitution-related charges and seized 23 vehicles in the last week in north and west Denver.

The Denver Police Department announced Thursday the arrests of 29 people for soliciting for prostitution or agreeing to an act of prostitution. Six suspected prostitutes were also arrested.

The "john stings" were conducted by the department's vice unit in areas where police say they received complaints about solicitation and prostitution.
