DENVER (CBS4) – The summer movies keep coming, including one that opened Friday based on a soap opera from the 1960s.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody reviewed “Dark Shadows.”

“‘Dark Shadows’ is one I was looking forward to — a summertime movie with real character comedy and an odd way of looking at things,” Moody said. “After all, it’s directed by Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp. If that doesn’t promise odd, I don’t know what does.”
