Memorial Held For Limon Police Officer Killed In Line Of Duty

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A tribute was held Friday for a Limon police officer killed in the of duty.

Jay Sheridan died in March of last year trying to arrest a wanted felon. He was remembered during the annual law enforcement memorial ceremony in Golden.

Also added to the memorial was Denver officer David Roberts who died last year after being hurt on the job in 1985.

The names of five other Colorado officers, all from the early 1900s, were also placed on the memorial.
