CU Waits To Find Out Cost Of This Year's 4/20 Rally

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - There is no word yet on the cost of a crackdown on the University of Colorado Boulder campus during the 4/20 rally.

The school is waiting on invoices from agencies that assisted in the crackdown.

After more than 100,000 people attended last year's marijuana rally on Norlin Quad on April 20, university officials decided to close the campus to visitors and block off the quad.

In past years the unsanctioned 4/20 rally cost the school about $50,000. This year only about 100 students gathered on campus.
