Electronics Recycling Event Held At Sports Authority Field At Mile High

DENVER (CBS4) - People dropped off their old computer monitors, CPUs, TV monitors, cellphones and radios at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday.

Round 2 Recycling is the company collecting the old electronics. They say if it has a plug-in, they'll recycle it.

"If we just throw them in a landfill we're not going to be able to reuse it and it's harmful to our environment. We need to be stewards of the environment and that's one way we can do that," Paul Adamson with Round 2 Recycling said.

Miles the mascot was at the event.
