Woman Awakes To Man Fondling Her In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Boulder would like the public's help locating a suspect in a sexual assault that happened early Sunday morning.

Kim Kobel with Boulder police said officers responded to a call in the 900 block of University Avenue around 4:30 a.m. after a woman reported that she awoke to an unknown man in her bedroom fondling her.

"The victim was asleep with her boyfriend. She felt someone touch her and screamed when she awoke to see that it was a stranger," Kobel said in a statement.

The suspect fled and police were unable to find him. Officers believe he entered the home through an unlocked door.

The suspect is described as being white, 18 to 22 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds. He has dark brown or black hair in a buzz cut style. He was wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans.
