Every Friday night is Kids N Canvas night at My Art Workshop. This "drop in" arts and crafts studio is the perfect place to bring your kids for instruction, crafts and tons of fun. The Kids N Canvas class will cover the basics of acrylic canvas painting with step-by-step artist led instruction. No experience is necessary, just bring your imagination. The third Saturday of every month is the Cookies y Leche Art Workshop at the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC.) Cookies y Leche (Cookies and Milk) is a low cost and fun educational art program that is also designed to involve kids in the creation of cultural crafts and activities. These classes are offered every month and are taught by a CHAC member artist. What a great way to involve your kids in a cultural arts and crafts project and help them learn a little something too.
