Popular Easter Egg Hunt Scrapped Due To Behavior Of Parents
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Parents' bad behavior has prompted city officials to cancel an Easter egg hunt.
The hunt usually has children running through a park in Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs, but organizers say too many adults were getting in the way of the young children.
"Most of them went in, made it difficult for me to see my child. So there was definitely a safety concern there and she didn't get anything, so we spent about an hour down there and she ended up with nothing. So it wasn't very fun for her," a parent said.
Organizers say they were also running short of funds, but they will re-assess the situation.
