Avalanche Warning For Southwestern Colorado
DENVER (AP) -- Avalanche forecasters are warning outdoor enthusiasts to stay out of the backcountry in southwestern Colorado after some areas received up to two feet of snow.
Forecasters said Wednesday the warning is in effect through noon.
The Colorado Avalanche Information Center says another foot of snow could fall in the area by Wednesday afternoon, making mountain travel hazardous.
