Chief White Shakes Up Denver Police Department
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Police Chief Robert White is shaking up his department and it means some staff will have to re-apply for their jobs.
In an email to officers on Tuesday, White announced new deputy chiefs to replace the two men currently holding those jobs. David Quinones is currently a division chief and William Nagle is a captain.
White is also opening up all six district commander positions. Applicants will go before a selection board made up of 13 residents, plus both new deputy chiefs.
