DENVER (CBS4) - Snow and wind were factors in an accident in Northeast Denver Thursday morning in which a car veered off the road and smashed through the front entrance of a house.

The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. right at the intersection of Downing and 26th Street and no one was hurt.

Wind blew snow onto the traffic light at the intersection and it was reportedly difficult to see the lights.

Officials told CBS4 the driver assumed she had green light when she was heading down Downing but she hit another car that was westbound on 26th. After the impact of the collision the car rolled into the house.

Residents of the home were upstairs at the time.

The front entrance to the house was heavily damaged.
