No Charges In Rock-Throwing Death

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- The El Paso district attorney has decided that no charges will be filed against a man who killed another man with a rock while fleeing.

Authorities say Nicholas Blunt was trying to run away from a brawl at a bar last November when he was chased by 10 or more people.

The district attorney said Wednesday Blunt threw a rock and killed William Landrum. The district attorney says Blunt was justified because he was only trying to defend himself.
