Man Hospitalized After Getting Run Over By RTD Bus
DENVER (CBS4) - A man has been hospitalized after getting run over by a Regional Transportation District bus.
The accident happened on West Colfax Avenue and Mariposa Street on Tuesday. Witnesses say the man carrying the purple bag simply slipped under the bus.
"The guy got off of it and he was holding onto the bus for leverage and got over the snow bend; and the bus took off as soon as he got off the bus and he slipped under the bus, fell under the bus, and the back tires rolled over him," a witness said.
Police closed down a part of Colfax for a time while they investigated.
