Fundraiser Held For Victim Of Fatal Westminster Hit & Run

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - Friends came together Sunday to help out the family of a young woman who lost her life in a hit-and-run accident.

Jenna Breen died last weekend when she was hit by a suspected drunk driver.

Friends and coworkers at the Fox and Hound Tavern in Westminster held a charity poker tournament to raise money for the family. Breen worked at the bar and was well-liked.

Friends say it was the least they could do to help a family dealing with such a tremendous loss.

"We take care of our own, especially with circumstances that we lost one of our own," a Fox and Hound employee said. "We want to make sure we take care of them and help the family out during these trying times."

Anyone who missed out on Sunday's event can still drop off donations at the Fox and Hound at 120th and Sheridan in Westminster.
