Boulder Police Search For Circle K Robbery Suspect

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder are searching for a suspect they believe robbed a Circle K store on Sunday.

The robbery happened at 11:12 p.m. Jan 8 at the Circle K store at 3185 28th St.

The store clerk told police that a customer had loitered in the store for several minutes before approaching the counter and demanding cash from the register. The suspect did not show a weapon and the clerk handed over the cash. He was not hurt.

It's not known if the suspect is a man or a woman because the suspect's face was not visible during the robbery. The robber was wearing a maroon or red-colored hoodie tied tightly around his or her face with a white drawstring.

The suspect is described at 5-foot-10 with broad shoulders with dark eyes, wearing eye shadow and mascara, wearing boot-cut blue jeans with a tear or hole in the left knee, long black gloves and black fabric shoes.

Police would like to speak with anyone who recognizes the suspect or who may have information about the robbery.
