Cow Rescued From Freezing Pond In Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A cow is expected to be okay after being rescued from a freezing pond in Fort Collins.

Emergency crews rushed to get the animal out of the water. The cow, named "T-Bone," had been trapped for more than 5 hours and was suffering from hypothermia and shock.

Firefighters got T-Bone out of the water using a series of pulleys. A veterinarian stepped in to help the cow warm up.
