Man Accused Of Killing Wife Appears In Court
SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A man accused of killing his wife appeared in a Summit County courtroom Thursday.
Prosecutors believe Dale Bruner allegedly beat and strangled his wife, Stephanie Roller-Bruner, in November 2010 before leaving her in the Blue River outside Silverthorne.
Stephanie died a short time later, but her body wasn't found for three days.
Bruner appeared in court as his defense argued the legitimacy of the grand jury findings.
The prosecution is trying to get Bruner's so-called "prior bad acts" evidence admitted in the case.
Attorneys still believe it will be six to eight months before the case goes to trial.
