Downtown Denver Getting Ready To Ring In 2012

DENVER (CBS4)- Downtown Denver businesses are getting ready for New Year's Eve with two fireworks shows.

The two fireworks shows are at 9 p.m. and midnight on Saturday. The best place to view the fireworks is along the 16th Street Mall.

This year there will be DJs and entertainment along the mall. Denver was recently ranked as one of the top 10 cities to celebrate New Year's Eve by Yahoo! and Travelocity.

RTD is offering free light rail and bus service to and from downtown from many locations around the Denver metro area. Many hotels are offering deals and packages for the weekend.
