'Bring It On: The Musical' Has Comedy Actors Doing Crazy Stunts
DENVER (CBS4) - A movie about cheerleading, that became five movies about cheerleading has now inspired a high-energy stage musical.
"Bring It On: The Musical" forced the musical comedy actors to learn cheerleading stunts -- at great personal risk.
CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody saw the show in Los Angeles last week. It comes to the Buell Theatre Jan. 10-21.
"If I'm flying through the air, for any reason, I tend to flail like a cat going into a bathtub," Moody said. "But the star of this upcoming musical -- 'Bring It On' -- had to learn how to do a double twist cradle with ease and complete confidence."
