Mother Allegedly Left Special Needs Child Alone In Car

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are questioning a mother who allegedly left her special needs child alone in a cold car for a half an hour.

Police found the 5-year-old alone Wednesday morning in an SUV in the parking lot outside Park Hill Elementary School.

Officers said the child was okay and they were able to find the mother quickly. She was ordered to meet with detectives on Thursday. That's when officers will decide whether to file any charges.
