Santa Shop Helps Children Pick Out Gifts For Family

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- The Make-A-Wish Foundation is helping sick children shop for gifts for their family by bringing the merchandise to them.

The foundation set up a Santa Shop in the lobby of The Children's Hospital on Friday so young patients could do some holiday shopping. Santa's helpers were on hand to help them pick out gifts.

"For my sister a necklace and for my brother a basketball," said Kalyssa Berringer.

"For my grandparents I got this scents thing because I know they would like it. They like their house to smell good. For my dad, I got him a... since he loves the Broncos so much, I got him a Broncos razor," said Wyatt Denton.

The children also visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as doing a little shopping for themselves.
