Police Impersonator Robs 2 People In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are looking for a man who posed as a police officer and then robbed people.

The crime happened twice on Tuesday.

The first robbery was near 2nd Avenue and Julian Street. The impersonator pulled over a vehicle using a flashlight and then robbed the driver. The second crime was in the 1300 block of Lipan Street. That time the victim was a pedestrian.

The robber was wearing a dark-colored uniform with a badge attached to his belt.
