Grandmother Faces Child Abuse Charges After Kids Found Wandering Outside
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4)- The mother of two young children found wandering in the cold said their grandmother fell asleep before the kids got outside.
The children, both younger than five, were wearing little clothing when they were found Tuesday morning at the Traditions Apartments on East County Line Road in Littleton.
Their grandmother, Yolanda Borders, has been charged with child abuse.
The two children and a 16-year-old were taken into protective custody.
Borders has been accused of child abuse twice before.
