Enjoy 'Threads Of Heaven' At Denver Art Museum For Free

DENVER (CBS4) - The start of Denver Arts Week is just a few days away. It's a chance for you and your family to explore all the arts Denver has to offer while saving money.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody previewed of one of his favorite events.

"I love Denver Arts Week for a lot of reasons, but one of my favorites is this -- 'Saturday Night at the Museums,' where you can discover and explore the great museums of Denver for free. Even the Denver Art Museum and their exhibit on Chinese silk," Moody said.

Along with the new Xu Beihong exhibit is "Threads of Heaven," a silken legacy of China's last dynasty.

All day Saturday the Denver Art Museum is free, but "Threads of Heaven" is a ticketed event. Then Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. "Threads of Heaven" and the Xu Beihong are both free -- as are museums all over town, including the Forney Museum of Transportation, the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, Museo de las Americas and 15 more.
