CDOT Shows Off New Tow Plow For I-76
DENVER (CBS4) - Interstate 70 is not the only interstate getting special attention when it comes to winter travel -- so is I-76.
The Colorado Department of Transportation showed off a new piece of snow removal equipment on Wednesday. It's a tow plow that will be used on I-76 from Wiggins to Atwood.
The plow truck pulls a trailer. It swings to the side to allow one truck plow and de-ice two lanes at the same time. That will free up one snow plow to tackle tricky spots on that stretch of highway.
