Crash East Of Lamar Kills 23-Year-Old Pueblo Man
LAMAR, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on U.S. 50, about four miles east of Lamar.
Troopers say 23-year-old Joshua Owens, of Pueblo, was heading east on U.S. 50 Monday morning when his vehicle entered the westbound lane and collided with the side of a westbound tractor-trailer. Owens died at the scene. Troopers say his passenger, 28-year-old Peter Kraft of Canon City, was taken to a hospital with a serious injury.
The tractor-trailer driver wasn't injured.
Troopers don't think alcohol or drugs were involved.
