Buckley To Increase Training Flights
BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado Air National Guard wing stationed at Buckley Air Force Base will increase training flights over the next several months to prepare for a readiness inspection next spring.
Buckley announced Tuesday that residents near the base can expect increased flights and noise, such as alarms and sirens, as the Air National Guard's 140th Wing intensifies training.
The next readiness exercise is scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Fighter jets may be taking off or landing as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 1 a.m.
