Company Donates Design Software To CSU
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A German-based company has donated $44 million in software to Colorado State University to teach students to manage large projects in hybrid vehicle design.
The university's Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of 16 university teams around the nation that are working to build a hybrid electric Chevrolet Malibu made by General Motors.
College President Tony Frank says the donation will help provide a well-trained workforce that is knowledgeable about state-of-the-art technology used in the field.
