DENVER (CBS4) – It’s a baseball movie that isn’t really a baseball movie. It’s about stats and numbers and the characters who believe those figures to a fault.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody reviewed the movie “Moneyball.”

“‘Moneyball is the story of Billy Beane of the Oakland Athletics and how he turned baseball tradition on its ear by digging into stats to find good players — cheap players — who had been passed over,” Moody said.
