Denver Democrats Host Christine Pelosi On Sunday
DENVER (AP) - The daughter of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is coming to Colorado to help rally fellow Democrats.
Christine Pelosi is a member of the Democratic National Committee and has worked on leadership training for candidates. She is scheduled to attend a reception with Denver Democrats on Sunday at the Wynkoop Brewery.
She plans to talk about the importance of grass-roots involvement to the future of the Democratic Party and sign copies of her book "Campaign Boot Camp: Basic Training for Future Leaders."
The event is open Denver Democrats who give at least $100 to the party annually.
Pelosi will also be the keynote speaker at the Jefferson County Democratic Party's Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner on Saturday night.
