Search-Rescue Dogs Get Workout In Colorado

DENVER (AP) - Search-and-rescue dogs from seven states are going through certification evaluations at Denver International Airport.

The dogs will be tested on a series of rubble piles simulating collapsed buildings and other scenarios. The tests began Saturday and end Sunday.

Colorado Urban Search and Rescue Task Force One is the host group.

Teams from California, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Washington are also sending dogs.
