7 Bombs Set Off Around Smuggler Mine
ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - Colorado prosecutors got an education after seven bombs were set off at Smuggler Mine near Aspen.
The demonstration by the Grand Junction Bomb Squad was a part of a session on understanding explosives presented by the Colorado District Attorneys' Council.
About 30 prosecutors are attending a conference in Snowmass this week.
According to the Aspen Daily News, road traffic was halted when the bombs were set off on Monday.
