Denver Police Arrest Suspect In Knights Inn Motel Murder

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have arrested a man in connection with the murder a man in a Denver motel.

The man died on Sunday evening after he was shot in the head at the Knights Inn Motel at 26th and Zuni.

On Tuesday Sonny Jackson with Denver police released a statement saying Scott Shorts, 43, was arrested for investigation of first-degree murder. Police have not released Shorts' picture.

Police have not released the name of the victim.

An officer was hurt responding to the scene while running up the stairs. He fell and broke his collarbone.
