Police Say Man Who Was Missing Fakes His Own Disappearance

DENVER (CBS4) - The search for a missing Broomfield man was called off Tuesday evening after investigators now say he faked his own disappearance.

Police had been searching Vail Mountain for Justyn Lamarine. They say he parked his car behind Vail Mountain on Aug. 8, took a bike back down and caught a bus to Pennsylvania.

There is a warrant for Lamarine's arrest because he never registered as a sex offender.
