Dog Days Of Summer End With A Splash In The Pool

DENVER (CBS4)- Saturday was the final day for humans to take a dip in Denver city pools. That means a few pools went to the dogs- literally.

Dog-a-poolooza was Sunday at a handful of Denver city pools where hot dogs cooled off.

The annual event is open for all dogs the day after pools close for the summer, at least to human swimmers.

"We actually really appreciate that they do this out here because it's really nice for the dogs to get some exercise and it's a great way for us to have some fun with them," said dog owner Brad Lander.

The cost is $5 to let your pooch swim in the pool.
