Denver Broncos Kicker Matt Prater Cited For DUI, Leaving The Scene
DENVER (CBS4)- Denver Broncos Matt Prater has been cited for two counts of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
Prater was arrested on Aug. 2 by Greenwood Village Police. The details of what happened leading up to his arrest have not been made available.
The summons and complaint against Prater were filed on Aug. 5.
Prater is scheduled for an arraignment on Oct. 5 at 8:30 a.m.
The Denver Broncos on Friday released the following statement on kicker Matt Prater, "Our organization is disappointed with the poor judgment shown by Matt Prater on Aug. 2. This matter, which was addressed with the team last week, continues to be thoroughly reviewed internally."
Prater kicked three field goals in the first half of the Broncos game against the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, TX on Aug. 10.
