Woman Arrested After Returning For Animals

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A woman who jumped bail after she was arrested on charges of animal cruelty has been arrested by Fort Collins police after she returned to get her animals back.

Holiday Christie was charged with felony animal cruelty and obstruction after the Larimer Humane Society seized more than a dozen dogs, two cats and four pygmy goats.

Christie told the Fort Collins Coloradoan she was out of money and trying to make ends meet to reclaim her animals and she hoped to avoid getting arrested.
