Bloodhounds Search For Evidence In Double Homicide Investigation

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Bloodhound search teams looked for new evidence in a field on Thursday related to a double homicide investigation that started eight months ago.

Police already have three suspects in custody in the murders of Tiffany Durst and Terrence George, including Terrence McNeal, Janelle Harris and Tiera Homes. All are being held without bond on two counts of first degree murder.

George was found shot to death in his apartment in November 2010.

Durst's body was found in April. Police discovered her remains at the Cherry Creek Spillway. That's where police took the bloodhounds.

"These are the markers that the search teams used during their search. If they found something of interest to investigators, they would mark that area and continue their search with the bloodhounds," said Aurora Police Detective Bob Friel.

Police wouldn't disclose exactly what they hoped to find. That information is confidential to the investigation.
