Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Investigates Inmate's Death
LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a Denver man being held at the Arapahoe County jail has killed himself.
Sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Mack Pete Warren was found hanging from a bed sheet in his jail cell Monday afternoon. They say jail employees and medical staff immediately gave him first aid, but couldn't save him.
Sheriff's officials say Warren was being held on $100,000 bond. He was facing charges of second-degree burglary and violation of a restraining order.
Authorities are investigating Warren's death.
