Artifacts Missing Following Museum Fire
FRISCO, Colo. (AP) -- Police say some artifacts are missing following a fire at a Frisco museum.
Spokeswoman Theresa Paul says items missing including an antique fur collection, jewelry, women's clothing and other artifacts.
Police say the burglary may be connected to a suspected arson.
Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue Chief Dave Parmley says firefighters used as little water as possible on Sunday to keep from damaging artifacts at the Ruth House. The building interior and roof were damaged, but the exterior was saved, along with many of the artifacts that include clothing and a hat collection.
