Murder Suspect Overpowers Deputy, Flees In Patrol Car
DENVER (CBS4) - An escaped murder suspect is back in custody after slipping out of his handcuffs, overpowering a sheriff's deputy and fleeing in the deputy's patrol car.
Tyron Martinez was being transported from court to the Alamosa County Jail Thursday when he escaped in the deputy's unmarked patrol car. The car did not have a cage to contain detainees.
The 33-year-old was found 3 hours later in Gunnison County.
