Mother Of Aurora Toddler Run Over By Van Arrested

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - The mother of a 22-month-old girl hit and killed by a van has now been arrested.

Karen Pena faces a charge of child abuse resulting in death.

Laneice Fletcher was killed last month in an apartment complex parking lot. She was hit by a commercial van. That driver has not been charged.

Police say witness interviews and a reconstruction of the accident scene led to the arrest.
