Immigrant Advocates Gather After Dairy Raid

FORT MORGAN, Colo. (AP) - Immigrant advocates and lawyers were meeting Saturday with people affected by recent immigration raids at a dairy in Fort Morgan.

The community forum was held three days after 11 people were arrested on allegations of falsifying documents to work in the U.S. The people arrested were working at the Wildcat Dairy.

The Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition and the American Immigration Lawyers Association invited the public to join a community forum about the immigration arrests. Advocates say immigrants are afraid they'll be deported even if they're legal.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the people arrested were using fraudulent "green cards" and Social Security cards.
