Gov. Hickenlooper Orders Flags To Fly At Half-Staff

DENVER (AP) - Gov. John Hickenlooper has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff at all public buildings in the state on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Hickenlooper issued a statement calling for Coloradans to remember and recognize military personnel and expressing gratitude for their service.

Many state offices will be closed Monday, including driver's license offices, the health department's vital records office, state history museums, the attorney general's office, Division of Wildlife service centers and others.
