Kelli Murphy, 41, was released from the hospital after being admitted sometime in the morning. Police immediately took her into custody upon release and began interrogations. She could face charges of child abuse as well as two possible counts of first degree murder, authorities said.

Murphy's children, a 6-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, were found dead by a police officer who responded to the home after Murphy made a 911 call and said she was suicidal. Police said Murphy had slit her wrists.

The home is located on the 200 block of Cherry Street, in the Founders Village neighborhood. Neighbors told CBS4 many children in the neighborhood and possibly the two who died were together at a barbecue on Sunday night.

So far there's no word on how the children died.
