Tebow Joins Teammates For Informal Workout In Denver

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4/AP) -- Tim Tebow has joined the Denver Broncos' informal off season workouts.

The second-year quarterback had been working out on his own in Florida during the NFL lockout.

"I think the one thing you can't do as much now is watch as much film. You can't do all the studies, I mean, I got some, and have been able to gather some in my last year, just DVDs and whatnot, so I think that's the one thing that's disappointing. But I try to make up with that by going through the playbook more. You've got to go out there and compete. I'm excited about that opportunity whenever we start playing to compete, that's what it's all about. I'll be ready to compete," said Tebow.

Tebow showed up Thursday at the South Suburban Sports Dome near Dove Valley for a conditioning workout and to throw some passes.

The sessions were organized by safety Brian Dawkins, who's been gathering teammates who are in Denver for the offseason for twice-a-week indoor workouts.

The Broncos are among a handful of teams with a new coaching staff, so they're unable to practice any actual plays like some teams can.
